Credit & Debit Card Payment Information,

Whilst you will be required to enter card payment information, if you wish to complete a transaction, card details are never stored or visible to us. All payment information is securely transmitted from the checkout to Shopify Payments. Shopify is Certified Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant. In order to complete payment you will be required to enter your card information in the form of:

  • Card Type (automatically detected based on card number)
  • Cardholder Name
  • Card Start Month & Year (if applicable to card type)
  • Expiration Month & Year

We receive notifications of successful and unsuccessful payment attempts, the number of attempts made and number of different cards attempted.

We use Shopify to power our website. Once we have received your information, it will be stored securely on Shopifys servers. Shopify use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access, such as password protection, 2-step authentication access controls, firewalls, encryption and anti-virus protection. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website; any transmission is at your own risk.

It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal information changes during your relationship with us.

SHOPIFY

We host our store on Shopify Inc, they provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application, all data is stored behind a firewall on a secure server. 

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

You will not: commit or encourage a criminal offence; transmit or distribute a virus or any other material which is malicious, technologically harmful, in breach of confidence or in any way offensive or obscene; hack into any aspect of the Service; corrupt data; cause annoyance to other users; infringe upon the rights of any other person's proprietary rights; send any unsolicited advertising or promotional material, commonly referred to as "spam"; or attempt to affect the performance or functionality of any computer facilities of or accessed through this Website. Breaching this provision would constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. BlushCases will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and disclose your identity to them. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of this website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

 

 

TERMS OF SALE

[1] By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

[2] Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or for uncontrollable forces which we will not be responsible. Please see our Delivery Charges notice for further information.

[3] In order to contract with BlushCases you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.

[4] BlushCases retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email and we will confirm the identity of the party which you have contracted with. This will always be BlushCases. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.

[5] OUR CONTRACT - When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

From time to time, we may reject an order for various reasons, including but not limited to:

- If the images, submitted for a personalised product, are inadequately pixelated, corrupted or otherwise unsupported by our systems.

- If a personalised product you wish to order contravenes., or appears to contravene our Content Rules. See Content Rules at the bottom of this page for full details.

If we reject an order, the order will be cancelled, and you will receive email notification to this effect, and payment will be reversed to you.

[6] PRICING AND AVAILABILITY - Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
All prices are inclusive of VAT. Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.

[7] PAYMENT - Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed. Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted.

[8] DISCOUNT CODES - Discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders; such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered. Promotional discount codes - We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though this Website. The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue. All discount codes apply to full price items only.

 

CONTENT RULES

If you are uploading images to personalise a product, these must be in JPEG or PNG format, with a maximum file size of 20mb (Megabyte). We print most image products at 300DPI (Dots Per Inch). If you upload a low resolution image, we will print it, however, the clarity of the final image will be impacted. Low resolution images can appear excessively pixelated. By uploading or including any photos, content or material within our personalised products, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, reproduce (in print or other media) and distribute such content, photos and material in order to perform our obligations and exercise our rights under these Terms.

By uploading photos, content or material to our personalised products, you agree to adhere to our Content Rules. We do not permit personalised products to include any content or material which:

  • contains any personally identifiable information about another person, such as but not limited to, their phone number or address.
  • infringes copyright. You must either own the copyright to the image or material, or hold a license from the copyright owner that allows you to reproduce the item commercially in printed form.
  • infringes any rights or duty, such as a trade mark or confidentiality agreement.
  • contravenes any applicable law or regulation (including, without limitation, any criminal law), or promotes, advocates or assists any unlawful act.
  • misrepresents identity, or impersonates any other person, or is false, inaccurate, or misleading.
  • gives the impression that it has our endorsement, approval, or originates from us.
  • is offensive, abusive, threatening, defamatory, pornographic (or contains nudity), obscene, indecent, or discriminative based on sex, race, nationality, religion, age, disability or sexual orientation. Furthermore, Material or images must not incite hatred or violence, or cause annoyance, upset, distress, harassment, embarrassment or alarm in any form against any person or group.
